This year’s Yule Rock event takes place at Conway Hall in Holborn on Friday 15 December 2023.

Yule Rock is a heartwarming and inclusive gathering, embodying the essence of Sunday Assembly‘s core values of community, joy, and wonder. It is the perfect occasion to come together, sing your hearts out, and revel in the holiday cheer without any religious affiliations.

“We’re excited to put on this fabulous event again and to bring together people of all backgrounds to spread the joy and magic of the festive season,” said Gwawr Thomas, a representative of Sunday Assembly London. She goes on to announce the event’s celebrity host: “We are thrilled to announce that the renowned comedian, writer, and secular activist Ariane Sherine will be hosting this year’s event. Ariane, an influential figure in the secular community, is no stranger to using her wit and infectious energy to bring people together and we are really excited to have her compering Yule Rock.”

The main highlight of Yule Rock is the soul-stirring, uplifting music that will have everyone singing along and dancing in the aisles. The event will feature a live band with talented musicians and vocalists, promising an unforgettable musical experience. People can expect to hear both classic and contemporary Christmas songs that will get everyone into the holiday spirit.

Yule Rock is an annual fundraising event for Sunday Assembly London, now in its tenth year. Funds raised during the event will support various community initiatives, outreach programs, and events aimed at fostering a sense of belonging and promoting personal growth within the local community.
