The latest in the ‘Reds on the Green‘ series is a talk by Sam Guthrie on the life of Anthony Martin Fernando, a pioneering Indigenous Australian activist and internationalist who challenged white imperialism from the heart of London. This talk traces Fernando’s remarkable journey—from Sydney to Clerkenwell’s “Little Italy”—and explores his activism, lived experience, and place within early 20th-century Indigenous political thought.
