Join in LGBT History Month 2025!

A flyer with a multi-coloured illustration of two people and the words: Camden and Islington LGBT History Month February 2025 Activism and Social Change.

Local charity forum+ has curated a fantastic programme for Camden and Islington, celebrating the history and achievements of the LGBT community. Everyone is invited to join the festivities and explore LGBT history through art workshops, exhibitions, guided walks, history talks and more!

The theme for LGBT History Month 2025 is Activism and Social Change. This exciting theme is a call to reflect on the achievements of the past and to pay tribute to the amazing activists who have enabled equality. Let’s learn together about the inspirational Islington individuals, campaigners and community groups who achieved so much positive social change.

The programme for Camden & Islington LGBT History Month includes over 40 diverse engagements designed to educate, entertain and inspire. Highlights include Discovering South-Asian LGBTQ History – 30 years of Club Kali Activism at Islington Museum on Saturday 8th February, 50+ Years of Islington LGBT History Guided Walk on Sunday 9th February, A Conversation with Lisa Power on Activism & Social Change on Tuesday 11th February and an extra special Cooking With Pride event taking place at St Luke’s Community Centre on Tuesday 4th February.
