Join the Marx Memorial Library’s exhibition team, select local stories in our archives, and create new, lasting displays for the community.

We are looking for Islington residents to join our exhibition team to explore fascinating stories from your local area – on workers’ rights, campaigns for democracy, women’s history, international solidarity and much more.

Delve into the archives of the Marx Memorial Library and help us to put together a new lasting exhibition reflecting on peoples’ history on your doorstep.

Sign up to a series of three free workshops.

No prior experience necessary. There will be pizza!

Workshop 1

5th June 6–8pm, The Peel, Three Corners Centre, Northampton Road, EC1R 0HU

Workshop 2

12th June 6–8pm, Unity Room, Finsbury Estate Tenants Hall, EC1R 0WX

Workshop 3

19th June 6–8pm, Marx Memorial Library, 37a Clerkenwell Green, EC1R 0DU
