Islington Faces first went live in 2012. A dozen people-filled years later we’ve now published more than 365 interviews with people who live or work in Islington. From a blog we’ve become a small charity. And those interviews have had thousands of reads. With support from Islington’s Make it Happen grant we want to celebrate this unique, Islington website with you at a gathering on Monday 15 July from 6-8pm.

Special guests will include many Islington Faces and The Mayor, Cllr Anjna Khurana. Hopefully you’ll be there too!

Please come to Islington Ecology Centre, 191 Drayton Park, N5 1PH (just by Arsenal tube) for chat, mocktails, snacks and impromptu performances from people who make Islington really special. We start at 6pm. When the Mayor arrives, there will be some speeches and performances (approx 6.30pm). Our celebration is free but it’s a big help if you book a free ticket on Eventbrite with this link
