The Reds on the Green Programme, a joint partnership with Marx Memorial Library and Islington Heritage, continues with an introduction to the Irish Republican Fenian movement in nineteenth century Clerkenwell.

Local historian Mark Aston explores the aftermath of the 1867 Clerkenwell Explosion and how life dramatically changed for residents of this poor inner-London parish, including for five year old Arthur Abbott.
