Join Age UK for an entertaining and thought-provoking evening, as consultant geriatrician Dr Lucy Pollock shares her experiences of over thirty years of working with older people.

Dr. Lucy Pollock, drawing from her experience of over thirty years of working with older people and those close to them, offers valuable insights on ageing. Her first book, The Book About Getting Older, serves as a comprehensive guide for older people and their loved ones, addressing challenging questions about later life. Building on this, Dr. Lucy’s new book, The Golden Rule, uses real-life stories to illustrate how these experiences can be applied to improve both society and healthcare systems for older people, in both the present and the future. In her own words, her talk will “make you laugh, cry a bit, and think a lot”
Age UK would like to thank the British Library for kindly hosting this event at the Pigott Theatre, and for their ongoing support to Age UK Camden through community engagement initiatives. All donations will be used to improve the lives of older people living in the borough of Camden.
