Family run workspace celebrates its 40th birthday
FBC Clerkenwell – part of the Oxford Innovation Space network – is an established, family-run workspace in the heart of Islington, London. To celebrate its upcoming 40th birthday, the workspace is offering all customers the chance to come and explore FBC and its fantastic amenities with FREE day pass access this week. For the past four decades, the centre has been home to a diverse range of businesses and freelancers, including tech start-ups, designers, marketing, and charity organisations. FBC Clerkenwell has extensive flexible work spaces spread out over roof terraces, breakout areas, private pods and meeting rooms.
In addition, the centre offers over 60 private offices which are offered as blank canvases for businesses of all sizes to rent longer term and create a space that suits their brand, culture and working needs.
FBC Clerkenwell is a flexible workspace set in a former 1930’s printworks that also houses the London Metropolitan Archives. It was one of the first serviced office providers in London and has helped a variety of diverse and interesting businesses to grow and flourish over the years. Owners Hugh and Ian Hudson took over running FBC Clerkenwell from their father, who transformed the building in 1983. The brothers painted the walls as children for pocket money and are passionate about enhancing the provisions for businesses within the centre.
The week-long 40th birthday celebrations come hot on the heels of FBC Clerkenwell joining the Oxford Innovation Space network to support them in their drive to play an even greater role in attracting more talent, innovation and enterprise to the local area.
