Over 2,500 tickets have been booked for the London Cycling Festival. The event will see a host of free, inclusive, family-friendly cycling events happening in 28 boroughs across London.
Over 2,500 tickets have been booked for the London Cycling Festival. Run by London Cycling Campaign and London’s councils – with support from Lime, Voi, and the Zero Emissions Network – the event will see a host of free, inclusive, family-friendly cycling events happening in 28 boroughs across London.
This is London Cycling Festival’s second year, after the success of the 2025 festival – but this year the take-up has been phenomenal, with many rides booking up within a few weeks of being advertised.
As well as over 30 family-friendly and inclusive rides available across inner and outer London, the Festival will have four activity ‘hubs’ – in Westminster, City of London, Tower Hamlets and Richmond, each featuring music, stalls and games as well as led rides.
There is a focus on helping families and people with disabilities discover the joy of cycling, with a celebration of cargo bikes in Richmond and opportunities to try out accessible cycles in Tower Hamlets, the City of London and Westminster.
In addition, the long-standing Tour de Waltham Forest will be taking place on the day of the Festival.
