On Friday 3rd November, from 12-3pm the Ben Kinsella Trust will be coming to The Peel to run a workshop for parents and carers on exploitation, gangs, and knife crime.

This FREE 3-hour workshop will:
•Explore what ‘Street Gangs’ are, what they do, how, and why?
•Develop an understanding around language and slang
•Look at ‘County Lines’
•Discuss child exploitation, including the signs and stages
•Explore the risks of social media, ‘Drill Music’ and ‘Gang-related music’
•Consider the trauma involved in gang life
•Discuss why exploited children and young people may resist help and support
•How we can prevent exploitation as parents and as a community
•Provide resources for parents and carers from The Ben Kinsella Trust and more
