LGBT History Month 2025 is coming soon and local charity forum+ can’t wait to share a fantastic programme celebrating local LGBT culture, heritage and history.

This year’s programme has already got over 30 entries with a great diversity of subjects and voices represented. Highlights include an LGBT evening at Islington Museum on Saturday 8th February, Loudest Whispers Art Exhibition at St Pancras Hospital from Monday 10th February and an extra special Cooking With Pride event taking place at St Luke’s Community Centre on Tuesday 4th February.

The theme for LGBT History Month 2025 is Activism and Social Change. An exciting opportunity awaits to pay tribute to the amazing activists who have enabled equality. Let’s learn together about the inspirational Camden and Islington individuals, campaigners and community groups, who achieved so much positive social change.

From 1st – 28th February get ready to enjoy a broad range of events including craft workshops, discussions, exhibitions, poetry, plays, performances, commemorations of local LGBTQ figures, talks and so much more! If you are planning an event in Camden or Islington for LGBT History Month there is still time to be included in the official programme.

The programme will feature in-person LGBT History Month activities and events taking place in Camden or Islington throughout February. Online activities and events are also included from Camden and Islington based charities, community groups, organisations and venues. Entries are welcome regardless of whether they are on the 2025 theme of Activism and Social Change.

The Camden & Islington LGBT History Month 2025 programme will be released week beginning Monday 20th January. The programme will be available online and a printed booklet will be free to take from LGBT venues, local libraries, community spaces and community centres across Camden and Islington.

If you are interested in organising an LGBT History Month event in Camden or Islington, or would like to share details about an amazing LGBT event taking place in February, please contact forum+ by emailing [email protected]
