Islington Heritage’s Finsbury Winter Warmers programme continues next week with these three events we thought you should know about!

‘Collaging Cities’ with Grace Holliday

Thu Feb 5 from 11am to 1pm, at The Peel, 3 Corners Centre, Northampton Road, EC1R 0HU

During this workshop, you will explore the art of paper collage to create your own layered city scenes.

Shape, colour and the technique of mark-making using a variety of pens, inks and cut-outs will construct buildings on paper – brought together into dynamic city scenes. Inspiration will focus on the heritage and ever-changing patchwork of places in London and beyond. Please book in advance, numbers strictly limited. Book here. Tour of the Charterhouse

Fri Feb 6 from 11am to 12:30pm, at The Charterhouse, Charterhouse Square, EC1M 6AN

Join us for a tour of Clerkenwell’s historic Charterhouse, home to martyrs, plotters, schoolboys, and since 1611 a community of older people

Refreshments will be available 11.00-11.30. The tour will start at 11.30. Please book in advance, numbers strictly limited.

Sat Feb 7 from 2pm to 4pm, at Islington Museum, 245 St John Street, EC1V 4NB

AG is an Islington-based acoustic singer/songwriter; his sound is inspired by folk and blues, and his lyrics focus on storytelling.

Just turn up, no need to book. More info.
