Festive cheer came to Clerkenwell Green yesterday when Hugh Myddelton Primary School Choir sang traditional and holiday hits in front of the Christmas tree.

Choir leader and music teacher at the school, Mr. Phillips led the children in a truly uplifting performance.

Christmas hats, glitter glasses, reindeer antlers, and snowman eyeglasses were in abundance!

The event—arranged by Central District Alliance in partnership with Hugh Myddelton Primary School and Islington Council— was to show appreciation for local business partners while spreading holiday magic.

In attendance this year were Clerkenwell councillor Ruth Hayes, Clare Paul from Islington Heritage, and members of the Central District Alliance.

It was a really wonderful performance, with an appreciative audience including passers-by, and local businesses. All of whom joined in with the final song, a rendition of Jingle Bells!
