It certainly looked a lot like Christmas last Saturday at The Peel! With well over 200 people attending, the local community came together for a fun-filled day of festive cheer. There were lots of gift stalls with handmade items from local sellers; arts and crafts activities for the kids including candle and calendar making; plus free mulled wine, mince pies and nibbles.

Santa’s Grotto was extremely popular, as was the face painting and glitter tattoos! Fantastic singer Suzanne David joined the festivities again, and entertained us with her Christmas repertoire. She got the crowd dancing and singing along to some classic seasonal favourites.

The raffle had some really amazing prizes too. Well done to all the winners!

Thanks so much to all the local businesses who donated items to the raffle. There were some very happy faces as the names were read out!

Here are just a few photos from the day. Look out for more coming to The Peel’s Instagram account very soon!
