The Peel has a new logo!
By Paddy Radcliffe, CEO of The Peel

The Peel has a new logo! Over the course of the summer we have been working with our friends at Purple Creative to review and develop our ‘look’. And we have been inspired by our own heritage. While flicking through some of our old annual reports (some dating back to the early 1900s!), we discovered drawings by ‘Fougasse’, drawn exclusively for The Peel.
Fougasse (Kenneth Bird) was a British artist and cartoonist, perhaps best well known for his work for Punch magazine and his series of ‘Careless Talk Costs Lives’ cartoons during World War II. We loved the hand-drawn type and quirky illustration style that he developed for The Peel and have put this at the heart of our new look and feel.

We have just started slowly introducing the new branding, but the main roll out, including a new website, will happen from January onwards. Watch this space!
We hope that the style, colours and vibrancy of the new design represents The Peel as it is today, whilst at the same time reflecting where we have come from.
And we hope you like it! We’d love to hear what you think.
