A vibrant October newsletter featuring autumn leaves, highlighting events and activities at The Peel, and connecting communities.

The latest newsletter from The Peel is out now and will soon be available from the community centre itself, Finsbury library, several local doctors’ surgeries, and other local outlets. You can also find it on The Peel’s website here.

Inside, we find out about Vamory, one of the fantastic volunteers from Children, Young People & Families, who has been helping with Code Club for the last two years. There is a look back at what the Adult Social Club got up to in September, and the upcoming programme of activities and trips they have planned in October; news on the Clerkenwell Community Photography Competition, and where you can see the winning shots; a round up of news from Minds Matter Islington, including suicide prevention training, and World Mental Health Day activities; an appeal for toy donations to support local families at Christmas; a great recipe for Brown Stew Chicken and a round up of news from Children, Young People & Families; a look at what the community team have been up to, and what events they have planned for October, including the latest Baby Item Swap event on the 17th.
