Get your hands dirty!

Community gardening sessions are running this autumn in several local parks and gardens.

Fancy some community gardening?

It’s a great opportunity to meet your neighbours, learn new skills, and enjoy time in nature. The Clerkenwell Community Park Ranger and Wilmington Square Community Gardening Club are running volunteer sessions this autumn in Spa Fields, Wilmington Square, and St James Clerkenwell. The focus is on general gardening maintenance, including:

Planting & Weeding

Pruning & Clearing

Log Edging & Habitat Management

Sweeping & Watering

All tools will be provided. If possible, please bring your own gloves – but there will be some available if needed. Everyone is welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult. No need to book, just turn up!

Upcoming dates:

St James Clerkenwell – Wed 22 Oct & Wed 12 Nov – 11am-1pm (Meet by the kiosk/cafe)

Wilmington Square – Sat 8th & Sat 29th Nov – 10am – 2pm

Spa Fields – Fri 14th Nov – 11am-1pm (Meet by the Park Office, by the picnic benches)
