The next in the excellent Reds on the Green series of events.

Clerkenwell was described in 1847 as an “area of grovelling, starving poverty”, but it was rich in radical history, with several locations of outdoor and indoor political rallies, demonstrations and publishing houses for revolutionary literature. It was also, at one time, the prison capital of London. Learn about the women and men and movements that have been part of that radical history, on a 90 minute walk, led by David Rosenberg, author of Rebel Footprints. All welcome!
