Any Questions? – one of BBC Radio 4’s flagship programmes, will be broadcast from St. Mark’s Church, Myddelton Square, London EC1R 1XX on Friday 31 July 2026.

The programme was first broadcast in October 1948 and visits a different part of the UK every week with a panel of four speakers who answer questions from the audience, providing people with the opportunity to challenge politicians, policy makers, writers and thinkers.

The Amwell Society invited Any Questions? to come to Clerkenwell as part of its Amwell 200 festival marking two centuries of change, growth and social development.

It is appropriate that Any Questions? will visit our area, one known for its radical politics for more than a century.

Any Questions? is always a programme full of lively debate.

Attendees should arrive between 18.30 and 19.15 on 31 July, with the live broadcast, chaired by Alex Forsyth, starting precisely at 20.00.

Booking is via Eventbrite here.

Places are free but are limited to a maximum of three per applicant. Admission is by ticket only.

The host organisation never knows in advance who the panellists will be, but they always represent a range of views.

What is the Amwell Society?

The Amwell Society has been looking after its locality in and around Amwell Street, ‘Amwell village’ as it is sometimes called, for 54 years. The Society cares for Listed buildings and successfully champions community cohesion. Find out more here.
